Schedule Flute Inferno classes are in session from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday. The days include master classes, group discussions, and evening recitals.
Special Guest Artist Gary Schocker on Wednesday, June 16.
Master Class Students should be prepared to perform at least twice in class. It is preferred that different selections or different sections from the same piece be performed. Students must be prepared to provide their piano parts on the first day of class. Unaccompanied works are acceptable.
Recitals Faculty recitals take place at 6:30 pm on Tuesday through Friday. A concert featuring all flutists who wish to participate takes place on Friday evening at 8:30 pm. These concerts and recitals are free and open to the public.

Floot Inferno Faculty Claire Johnson, , Floot Fire Director, is retired from her positions as Affiliate Artist at the University of Houston and Professor of Flute at Southern Methodist University. She is a member of Gemeinhardt Flutemakers National Teacher Advisory Panel and serves on the Pedagogy Committee for the National Flute Association. A frequent speaker at the National Flute Association Conventions, Ms. Johnson is in great demand as a pedagogue and clinician. Ms. Johnson studied at Juilliard with Arthur Lora. She is the founder of The Texas Flute Society Flute Festival.
